Having recently started my course, I was in the mode of looking for wildlife everywhere I went. This is a shot from the main theme park at Universal.

Up and Down.
Snapped while waiting to get into Universal orlando. These two squirrels were having their own rollercoaster, while another is in the background.

Crane.
These guys just rocked up one morning at the bottom of our house. Not so much birdwatching but bird-meeting.

Day Night.
These were everywhere. This one didn’t stay still for 12 hours. I took two shots and edited each differently. Hot sun vs. full moon.

Break almost over.

“Red” Robin?
Extremely fun fact:Β Even though the breast of the robin is orange, it is referred to as “red”. The colour “orange” comes from the name of the fruit and was brought into the English language after the naming of the Robin. Latin: Erithacus rubecula.

Bug’s Life.
Last macro insect for now. They all stayed surprisingly still. This one was actually being filmed as I was taking the picture.

Hemiptera.
Another from the macro studio workshop, hence the black background and no noise. This time a Shield Bug (Hemiptera).

Anti-leap frog.
The aforementioned frog. Someone was trying to make it leap forward and the rest were trying to capture the moment. I failed so here’s a stationary and probably a little annoyed frog.
