What a Difference a Lens Makes.
Shot with my speedy Tamron 70-300mm. The AF speed is comparable to Canon L lenses. Combined with Servo focus and a bit of luck, makes shots like these take a single try.

Taken from a car, on the way to the beach. Silhouettes usually look better in black and white. White space on the left is because of a tree in the foreground.

Just something strange and eerie for the morning. Used the 100mm macro here, it gives such a smooth picture, almost like film.

Original, unaltered photo. Given a “sunset” look by warming the temperature in Lightroom. Given a “sunset” look by tinting the shadows pink in colour correction in Lightroom.

Diwali. (#40136)
Apparently the biggest Diwali festival in Europe is in Leicester. There were 100s of people some of whom managed to stay completely still throughout the 20 second exposure! P.S.: Celebrating 2000 hits recorded yesterday since the start of this blog in february. Almost 500 hits this month alone!

Day 7: Sap.
What you see at the right bottom of the berry is not rain or dew. That’s solidified sap. I remember I used to eat cherry sap off the trees as a child… I wasn’t the most normal of children.
