Leicester campus doesn’t have the most exotic flowers but I tried to make the most of them (my macro lens definitely helped).

Again, unsure about the technique with these photos. I tried to make the edges of the droplet in focus and sharp. I think that works best.

3 macro posts in a row. Well its not like im just gonna stop using my new babylens. Not sure what this plant is since I avoided botany like the plague but it seems its a weed, though a rather pretty weed.

Ponder
Cleaning out our “fish” pond to find 6 of these little fellas. This was taken in his temporary bucket-home. We let them back into clean water but most just leaped away. This guy had a broken leg and didn’t make it through the night..

Spring is the best time for nature photos. Can’t wait for my student loan to come through so I can spend it all on a macro lens!
