Shadows Of London.
Lots of darkness here. It was quite a bright day in fact. I put a radial filter on the kids in the corner to bring them kit against the shadows.

Trinket.
Although obscenely overpriced. These cheap shiny things make quite nice bokeh. It’s a shame shop owners ban photography of their “work” (bulk buying for 1p/crate) by placing the official Piece of Paper with some ink on it.

Fake Still Effort.
Always nice to get a positive response from people you photograph. Shame the intended subject were the ice cream cones.

Fountains.
One of the rare times that I use clarity in Lightroom. Used to emphasise the cool weather and bring out the detail of the Tower Bridge which otherwise wouldn’t be the focus of the image.

London in Disguise.
Tried to take a mixture of photos during this trip. Less of the landmarks and more of the interesting streets like this underpass alley by the bank on the way to tower Bridge. Tried to emphasise the tall buildings and narrow alley by cropping it to 9:16 – the portrait of standard wide-screen.

Other side.
Hard to get a shot in London without a thousand tourists being in the way. Doing it across the Thames seems like a good alternative.

Cinematic.
Bored of black and white cityscapes decided to edit this with some split toning, trying to make it look cold like the scenes from Sherlock Holmes films. The bird helped to add some drama.
