These are just typical prom photos, yes. My housemate (left photo, center) asked me to photograph the Geography ball he organised. It was good fun, got a 3 course meal out of it and used this as a practice for the Bio-Sciences ball next week.

Haven’t done a prom-esque event with my new 5DMKII yet so it was amazing to see the difference in quality from the 550D even with a cheap 50mm F1.8 lens.

Right photo is from last year’s Bio-Sci ball – 550D. No visible difference in quality but VERY visible in Lightroom.
