CineFest #5
I was very lucky to be on the documentary crew. Setting up lighting is very hard work! //embedr.flickr.com/assets/client-code.js

Diwali. (#40136)
Apparently the biggest Diwali festival in Europe is in Leicester. There were 100s of people some of whom managed to stay completely still throughout the 20 second exposure! P.S.: Celebrating 2000 hits recorded yesterday since the start of this blog in february. Almost 500 hits this month alone!

Day 7: Cousin Avi.
If you like rock and funk, look this band up. Very fresh and a little reminiscent of RHCP on Blood Sugar Sex Magic. Evening light have great shadows to the scene. Tried to back away from the stage so the first and third shots are from the crowd. Couldn’t help but use the makeshift lens…

Day 5: King’s Gambit.
The first shot I will probably add to my glimpse collection. Same stage as Leyla Jane and Sean Grant so I picked a similar edit for the last two, with tinted, dark shadows.

Day 4: Hannah Faulkner and Leyla Jane.
Respectively. Although reminiscent of coffee shop ‘art’, I like to use the cream-tone to warm up my black and white portraits. I should have left a little more space above the head in the first shot.

Day 3: Nevermind.
At least somewhat inspired by the late Kurt Cobain. Didn’t want to go overly grunge on the edits so the first and third are plain, clean. Wanted to give the second a little character with a dark, black and white finish.

Day 2: Sean Grant and the Wolfgang.
The first shot is with my quirky diy lens-baby hence the blur. Opted for a warm green post process and a slight vignette on both to give them an indie look.
