I tried to test this lens with nature photography which is one of my favourites. As an added challenge, I tried taking photos just after sunset, when it’s too dark for most of my other lenses but not so much this one. I think the ISO here was 1600 – you can see a bit of smoothing on the top berries which looks a little ugly but overall, the lens achieved a nice perspective on this branch – much wider than normal macro photos but with a nice, shallow depth of field too.
