One of the most annoying things with landscapes are power lines. When we look at them ourselves our brain makes them a “low priority stimulus” meaning we don’t actually notice them. With a photo, the viewer sees the whole image as an important stimulus so the power lines become a glaring eyesore. Here I made the power lines the subject when I actually meant to capture the balloons. This way I don’t need to run to a place with an empty sky or spend an hour in Lightroom erasing the lines. I can just take a photo focusing on them, just to spite them. Damn power lines.
I think the towers and lines represent power. Nice capture.
